New Pupils

Welcome to Sheffield Park Academy

Hello to all of you and welcome to Sheffield Park Academy.

Thank you for choosing Sheffield Park Academy as your secondary school, we are very much looking forward to having you all in the building in September.

We are sorry that the current unprecedented crisis has meant that you could not come to Early Risers as normal but as you can see below our transition team have put together a range of different activities and topics for you to do in July 2020.

Meet the team will show you most of the staff in each department and our virtual tour will take you through the building so you can see where each department is located.

We hope you have a great summer and will be ready to welcome you back into school in September.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the transition team should you have any questions.

Here is some information on our Transition Team which will help you get to know and recognise everyone

Below are details on the other departments and teams at school:

Virtual Tour - FindingYour Way

We have not had the opportunity to show you around school before you join us in September, so we would like to give you the opportunity to explore the building yourself.

Finding your way around a new school can be a daunting prospect so get a 'headstart' and familiarise yourself with the layout of our school.

Click here for a copy of the Healthy Minds Y6 Transition Booklet from the Sheffield NHS Trust. There are some useful ideas in here to get to grips with transition in general. These can be used in conjunction with the four documents  below.

Have a look at the 4 tasks below which are specifically to do with your transition to Park.

Then have a look at some of the academic work for English, Maths and Science.

We would like you to have a go at as many of these as you can.

Don't worry if you can't get it all done but please do have a go at completing the academic sessions before September.

Thanks all and see you soon
