KS4 Options
Choosing your KS4 options is an exciting step in shaping your future. The journey from Year 9 into Year 10 involves exploring a wide range of subjects designed to help you discover your interests, develop your strengths and open the door to future study, training and careers. Alongside the core curriculum of English, Maths, Science, Geography or History, PE and PSHE, you’ll have the opportunity to select three additional subjects from our wide options offer, including GCSEs, vocational qualifications and specialised pathways such as Triple Science, Modern Foreign Languages, and a variety of creative, technical and social science courses.
To support you in making confident, informed decisions, we offer a full programme of guidance, including our Options Evening, Parents’ Evening and a personalised 1:1 tutor appointment. You will also utilise tutor-time careers sessions, the KS4 Prospectus and subject videos. Throughout this process, you’ll be encouraged to reflect on what you enjoy, what you’re good at, and where you see your future, whether you’re already aiming for a particular path or still exploring your possibilities.
