Introduction

This webpage is designed to provide information and guidance for students and parents/carers to make informed decisions about the subjects that they will study at GCSE.

Year 9 students have reached a very important stage in their education where they will have to make several decisions about the subjects they will study in Years 10 and 11.  This needs to be considered carefully.

Find out as much as you can about the courses by reading and watching the information contained, and talking to teachers, parents, or carers about the options that they would like to study.  Think carefully about the options available as they will affect your future opportunities. As an academy, we will continue to try our best to meet all your differing individual needs.  We encourage all students to choose subjects that will prepare them for their future, subjects that they enjoy and are likely to be successful in.
