Summer Reading Challenge

In order to promote reading over the summer holiday we have put together a set of resources for you to use. 

Make sure you watch the video titled “Watch Me First Summer Reading”. Then click here to open up the file “Read Me First Summer Reading”. This document will give you plenty of ideas for summer reading. 

We have also posted a number of video files with Mrs Ashforth reading for you to listen to. 

In addition, there are links to five Word documents with the full texts to go with the audio books mentioned in the “Read Me First“ document.

Professionals and members of the public can call 0114 273 4855 at any time.  They will be put through to a social worker to discuss safeguarding concerns about a child or young person. 

The Sheffield Safeguarding Hub Office hours are from 8.45am to 5.15pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.45am to 4.45pm (Friday) at all other times including Bank Holidays, calls will be responded to by the Emergency Duty Service
