Students and staff at Sheffield Park Academy are celebrating today after GCSEs were awarded across the country.
Across the year group, there were some great successes, including students who achieved some of the top grades.
Among those students who achieved strong grades are:
- Ziyan, who achieved four grade 9s, three grade 8s and two grade 7s;
- Sereyah, who achieved two grade 9s, two grade 8s and three grade 7s;
- Malaika, who achieved results including one grade 9, three grade 8s and three grade 7s;
- Amelia, who achieved results including one grade 9 and two grade 8s.
Students in the Sixth Form saw similar successes last week, with many achieving the grades to secure their spots at top Russell Group universities, including the University of Manchester and the University of Liverpool.
There are a small number of places still available at Sixth Form. Please join us for an enrolment session on Monday 01 September between 12noon - 2pm or contact us via email if you are interested in joining our community sseviform@unitedlearningyorks.org.uk .
Rob Watson, Principal of Sheffield Park Academy, said:
“Congratulations to all students at Sheffield Park Academy on their GCSE results. In preparation for their exams, students and staff alike worked incredibly hard to secure their grades and I hope they now feel a sense of accomplishment with their GCSEs finally under their belts. As we look ahead to the new academic year, we are excited to welcome back many students to our fantastic Sixth Form in September and I would like to wish all students the very best of luck for their futures.”
