Students enjoy GCSE success at Sheffield Park Academy

Celebrations are underway at Sheffield Park Academy as students receive their GCSE results today.
Overall, 42% of students achieved five or more good passes (grade 4 or above) including English and maths.
Alongside this, there were some particularly impressive student successes including:
- Zaakir Hussain whose results included four Grade 9s, one Grade 8, two grade 7s, two Distinction*s and one Distinction;
- Erica Mberi whose results included one Grade 9, three Grade 8s, two Grade 7s and three Distinctions.
Debbie McShane, Principal of Sheffield Park Academy, said:
“Well done to all the students on their excellent achievements. It is always such a pleasure to watch students open their results and see the delight on their faces as they realise just how well they have done. I am so pleased that so many students achieved the results they were hoping for and I look forward to welcoming them to our flourishing Sixth Form.
