SHEFFIELD PARK ACADEMY STUDENTS CELEBRATE GCSE RESULTS

This morning, students at Sheffield Park Academy are once again celebrating as they open their GCSE results.  Today’s results show improvements in all key areas with a larger number of students achieving the higher grades.

There were some strong individual successes including:

• Maali who achieved five grade 9s, three grade 8s and one Level 2 Distinction*;
• Abdrhman who achieved five grade 9s, one grade 8, two grade 7s and one Level 2 Distinction*;
• Aalia who achieved three grade 9s, one grade 8 and one grade 7;
• Mu’adh who achieved two grade 9s, two grade 8 and one grade 7;
• Mohamed who achieved two grade 9s and five grade 7s;
• Awesome who achieved four grade 8s, three grade 7s and two grade 6s.
• Juliana who achieved three grade 8s, four grade 7s and two grade 6s.

With their GCSEs secured, many of the year group are preparing to return to Sheffield South East VI Form, which celebrated strong A Level and BTEC results last week with almost a fifth of A Level entries achieving an A* or A.

Commenting on the results, Rob Watson, Principal at Sheffield Park Academy, said:

“We have had a great morning as students celebrate their achievements.  Today is the culmination of two years of hard work and students should be proud of what they have accomplished.  I am pleased that many of our students will be returning for our Sixth Form and I can’t wait to see what more they can achieve during their time with us.”
