Eco Community Litter Pick

On Saturday 2nd October, students from Year 7 completed an eco community litter pick in our local area. Many of our Year 7 students as well as those from our Eco club attended with the aim of improving our community and local environment.
The event, organised by Sheffield Park Academy, was a great success and we were delighted that Gail Smith, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and one of our Local councillors, Anne Murphy, accepted our invitation to support us.
Students did an excellent job; we very much look forward to the next litter pick and encouraging others to care for our local environment and community.
