Mr Ayub – Associate Vice Principal, Director of VI Form
At the start of my adult journey I completed an undergraduate degree in Health Exercise and Fitness BSc (Hons). I then worked as a fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Youth engagement worker. I soon decided a career change was required so I decided to pursue a career in education and completed a Graduate Teacher Programme to gain Qualified Teacher Status. I have now been a Teacher of English for over 12 Years.
Having worked in a number of schools I have had the opportunity to develop my knowledge and expertise in leadership. I have held a number of leadership roles including Assistant Principal, Director of SEND and SENDCo.
I joined the Senior Leadership Team at Sheffield Park Academy in September 2023. In my current role I oversee the VI form provision as well as having a number of whole school Leadership responsibilities.
I am passionate about removing barriers to learning to help students fulfill their potential. Preparing students for the ‘real world’ is a real priority of mine. I hope to motivate students to become the best they can be and become the leaders of tomorrow.

Miss Buckley – Careers Lead
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and have worked in two schools working my way up in leadership positions from Head of Year to Director of Sixth Form and finally Assistant Headteacher of Sport and Personal Development. I have not only built my skills set but developed my knowledge of school systems. Since having a family of my own, I have pursued a career change to suit my own personal circumstances.
I completed my L6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development whilst I was the Director of Sixth Form, so I bring a vast array of expertise to help guide and advise students with future pathways. Additionally, I have a thorough understanding of the UCAS process and can support students with their choices and creating personal statements.
