As a student in the VI Form, you will have personal responsibility for: 

Attending every day 

• It is nationally recognised that good, consistent attendance is crucial to a young person’s future prospects and has a direct impact on attainment and outcomes.  

• Our VI form attendance target is 97% - We expect all students to attend every day, without exception. 

Showing ambition and determination  

• Success comes with hard work. In order to be successful, we expect you to show determination and have high ambitions for your futures. 

• Teachers will set you individual learning targets and set you regular home learning tasks to complete. 

• Heads of Years will monitor your progress regularly to ensure you are showing commitment to your studies.  

• Completing all home learning and actively engaging in your independent study is a fundamental aspect of being part of Sheffield South East Vi form. 

Contributing to the life of Sheffield South East VI Form   

• We expect you to play an active part in the VI Form through engaging in extracurricular activities and programmes 

• All Vi formers take on positions of leadership for the whole student body. 

• These experiences will further support your development into confident, articulate and well- rounded young adults.
