Dress Code

We insist all our students in the VI Form dress smartly.

We expect your appearance to reflect the professional image of Sheffield South East VI Form.

 

Male students may chose form the following:

•Smart formal trousers or chino type trousers

•Plain black jeans with no rips

•Smart formal shirt (tie optional)

•Polo shirt

•Smart knitwear

•Smart blazer style jacket

•Smart shoes or trainers

 

Female students may choose form the following:

•Smart formal trousers or chino type trousers

•Formal skirt or dress which comes at least halfway down the thigh

•Plain black jeans with no rips

•Smart formal blouse or top

•Polo shirt

•Smart knitwear

•Smart blazer style jacket

•Smart shoes or trainers

There are certain items of clothing that we will not accept including those listed below.  

  • No hoodies
  • No caps
  • No ripped jeans
  • No sweatshirts / tops with large printed brand names or other logos
  • No sports trainers
  • No tracksuits / tracksuit bottoms
  • No crop tops / cold shoulder tops

Sports and Dance students will be required to attend school in the required Sports/ Dance uniform on days where there are practical lessons. At all other times students will be required to adhere to this dress code.

 

Jewellery must be kept sensible when attending the VI Form and safety precautions must be taken into consideration in the choice of jewellery. Make-up should be kept to a minimum. 

 

If students do not adhere to the dress code outlined above, they will be sent home to change into appropriate dress.
