Sheffield Park Academy - Newsletter February 2017
Executive Principal’s Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to the February edition of our newsletter.
The Department for Education published their league tables in January and you may have seen
in the press that Sheffield Park Academy was ranked first in Sheffield and ninth in the country
for the Government’s new educational measure, Progress 8. We are immensely proud of our
ambitious and confident young people and would like to thank everyone associated with the
school for their hard work, dedication and support which has helped us to achieve this.
We have also thoroughly enjoyed welcoming Year 6 students from our local primary schools for
transition visits recently. You can read about High Hazels Academy’s time with us on page 3 of
this newsletter.
Thank you for your continued support and best wishes for the February half term break.
Mr C. Dillon
