Sixth Form

The Sixth Form is a joint provision between  Sheffield Park and Sheffield Springs Academies and there are now 120 post-16 students who are studying a range of courses from level 1 programmes through to BTEC National Diplomas. Our Sixth Form launched in September 2007.

The collaborative Sixth Form provision is exciting and extensive with appropriate courses for students of every level of ability including 30 A levels as well as a large range of vocational courses at levels 1, 2 and 3. Following your time at the Sheffield Academies Sixth Form you will be prepared for progression to employment, further training or university.

Initial reaction from the sixth form student voice survey has been extremely positive. Whether they are doing a BTEC Diploma in Sport, Travel and Tourism, Health and Social Care, Performing Arts, Business, or are part of Construction and Engineering course at an outside training provider, students are supported to achieve and make real progress. Attendance has been fantastic with over 92% since the beginning of term enjoying their courses, enrichment activities, and support in literacy, numeracy and ICT.
