Class of 2011 Prom

The Sheffield Park Academy “Class of 2011” celebrated in style at the Hilton Hotel on the evening of Wednesday 22^nd June 2011. The evening started in traditional fashion with the  Year 11s arriving looking fabulous, making grand entrances in vehicles such as a Pink Cadillac, a stretch Limo and a Party Bus!

 

The Hilton, very kindly laid on free welcome drinks which the students enjoyed whilst they voted for their choice of Prom King and Queen. A sumptuous feast was laid on which was gratefully consumed, the very large chocolate cake being the favourite!  

 

Mr Beavis, who incidentally was voted best dressed teacher, said a few words, thanking the students for their hard work and whilst holding back the tears, bid farewell to the students and wished them well for the future.

 

The rest of the night was spent dancing, relaxing and enjoying the company of the Year 11 leavers.
