Key Stage Information

Students in Years 7 and 8 have an ICT lesson each week.  Students follow the ICT programme of study for Key Stage 3 and will undertake a diverse and challenging range of projects.

Students in Year 9 also have one or two ICT lesson per week depending on their band.  Students in these year groups work towards the OCR National First Award in ICT. This gives them the equivalent of one GCSE, though some students in

Year 10 and 11 students may choose to study additional units in order to achieve the equivalent of four GCSEs.

From September 2011, Year 9 will follow the new E-Safety qualification from BCS - this consists of 20 lessons and then an online assessment.

We expect a high level of success this year and are very optimistic about this year's results. Well done (in advance!) to all our successful students for all your hard work!
